The geometric Leharia print combines strength and grace in its regularity. Named for the wave forms that crash against the shore, it is inspired by a monsoon story of love. As the story goes, women would wear pink Leharia saris into monsoon festivals and dance in the streets; if the pink color came off on your skin, you’d be loved forever.
Our contemporary interpretation of the print is a stylized series of interlocking chevrons in slate grey on one side, reversing on the other side to a smaller Leharia print. And while it's colorfast, we assure you no love will be lost!
Fabric for our duvet sets is printed by hand by a fifth generation block printer based in Sanganeer in Rajasthan, India. Then, the block print fabric is sewn by the women artisans of Tilonia® who live in small communities in Ajmer district and work from home. The print design was created by Singapore-based design studio, MATTER.
Duvet set includes queen duvet cover 90" x 90" and 2 shams 20" x 30" with cloth ties for closure.
